Born in Veracruz, Mexico. She is a photographer and artist who explores with other media such as video and sculpture in ceramics. Their projects explores the invisible layers of violence that manifest themselves symbolically, emotionally or psychologically in places with high rates of violence in the central area of the State of Veracruz. His images deal with the concepts of fear, pain, grief, absence and matriarchy. Fellow of Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte FONCA, 2019-2022. Graduated from the Contemporary Photography Seminar of the Image Center in 2014 and Master Degree of Arts with Honorable Mention by the Autonomous University of Morelos. She obtained the First Place (ACQUISITION AWARD) at the INTERNATIONAL IMAGE FESTIVAL - FINI the same year.In 2018 he published the photobook "Donde no puedas verme" with the publisher Inframundo in Mexico City, which was presented at the Paris Photo, Policopies and Unseen festivals.
Her work has been exhibited individually in the National Photo Museum of INAH in 2012, which is already part of the collection and participated in more than 30 collective shows. Her work was recommended by the magazine I-D VICE in the article "six photographers of today that you have to know".
Her work was selected in the third Biennial of Veracruz, the plastic contest of the southern area of Mexico, the second Biennial of Contemporary Ceramics in Tijuana, the Sixth International Biennial of University Art in Toluca, the First Biennial of Art of Veracruz, the Seventh Biennial of Puebla and the First Biennial of Graphic Arts of Oaxaca. Winner of the scholarships PECDA - Veracruz (2007 and 2009) FotoEnsayo 2011, Contemporary Photography Seminar of the Image Center and PNPC-CONACyT por Master Degree.

Artista visual, explora las capas invisibles de violencia que se manifiestan de manera simbólica, emocional o psicológica partiendo de los conceptos de temor, duelo, dolor, ausencia y matriarcado. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte FONCA 2019-2022. En 2018 publicó el Fotolibro “Donde no puedas verme” con la editorial Inframundo con apoyo de la Beca de Coinversiones del FONCA. Ejerce como profesora de fotografía desde 2012, ha impartido clases en la Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos y la Licenciatura en Artes Visuales del Centro Morelense de las Artes. Es Maestra en Artes con Mención Honorífica por la UAEM. Egresada del Seminario de Fotografía Contemporánea del Centro de la Imagen 2014 y del Diplomado en Cine Documental por el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. Ha tomado talleres con importantes fotógrafos y editores como Antoine D’Agatha, Joan Fontcuberta y Yumi Goto. Su Fotolibro “Donde no puedas verme” fue Finalista del Premio Internacional FELIFA 2018 en Argentina, mismo que fue presentado en los festivales Paris Photo, Polycopies, Les Reencontres d’Arles, Unseen Amsterdam y Los Ángeles Art Book Fair. Obtuvo el Primer lugar en el FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE LA IMAGEN - FINI 2014. En 2012 expuso de manera individual en la Sala Nacho López de la Fototeca Nacional. Su trabajo ha sido exhibido en Francia, España, Argentina y la India, incluyendo la muestra “The Family of no man” en Les Reencontres d’Arles 2018. Ha participado en más de 30 exposiciones colectivas tanto en la ciudad de México, como en diferentes Estados. Finalista del Certamen plástico de la Zona Sur –FORCAZS 2018, Seleccionada en el Tercer Concurso de Fotografía Contemporánea de México 2017 (FUMCA), así como en Siete Bienales de Arte (la Primera y Cuarta Bienal de Veracruz, la Segunda bienal de Cerámica contemporánea de Tijuana, la Sexta Bienal Internacional de Arte Universitario de Toluca, la Séptima Bienal de Puebla de los Ángeles y la Primer Bienal de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca). Acreedora a las becas PECDA (2007 y 2009), FotoEnsayo 2011 y PNPC-CONACyT para estudios de Posgrado. Su trabajo ha sido publicado en las revistas Alquimia No. 46 y 48 y fue recomendado por la revista I-D VICE en el artículo “Seis fotógrafas de hoy que tienes que conocer”, en la revista Mexicanísimo en el artículo “Ocho jóvenes fotógrafos mexicanos” y en Canva en el artículo “30 fotógrafos mexicanos jóvenes que debes conocer”.
